Grievance and Complaint Policy

Really Living Today, LLC is committed to providing high-quality continuing education programs in a professional, ethical, respectful, and equitable manner. Participants are encouraged to communicate concerns regarding a continuing education program, presenter, program materials, accessibility, administrative process, or other aspect of their experience.

Informal Resolution

Whenever appropriate, participants are encouraged to first bring concerns to the attention of Really Living Today, LLC so that the matter may be addressed promptly and informally.

Participants are not required to pursue informal resolution before submitting a formal grievance.

Submitting a Formal Grievance

A participant who wishes to submit a formal grievance or complaint should provide the concern in writing and include:

  • The participant's name and contact information

  • The name and date of the continuing education program

  • A description of the concern or complaint

  • Any relevant supporting information

  • The resolution or action being requested, if applicable

Review and Response

Really Living Today, LLC will acknowledge receipt of a formal grievance within five (5) business days.

The grievance will be reviewed by an appropriate representative who, when reasonably possible, was not directly involved in the matter giving rise to the complaint.

A written response will generally be provided within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving the grievance. If additional time is necessary to adequately review the matter, the participant will be informed of the delay.

Depending upon the circumstances, resolutions may include clarification, corrective action, changes to program procedures, an opportunity to participate in a future program, a refund or partial refund when appropriate, or another reasonable resolution.

Continuing Education Credit

Submitting a grievance does not automatically result in the awarding, modification, or removal of continuing education credit. Continuing education credit will be awarded only when the participant has satisfied the applicable attendance, participation, and completion requirements for the program.

Non-Retaliation and Confidentiality

Participants will not be subjected to retaliation for submitting a good-faith grievance or complaint.

Information related to a grievance will be handled as confidentially as reasonably possible while allowing Really Living Today, LLC to appropriately review and respond to the concern.

Accessibility

Really Living Today, LLC will provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities in accordance with applicable law. Participants who need assistance accessing or using the grievance process may contact us to request an accommodation.

Records

Really Living Today, LLC will maintain documentation of formal grievances and their resolutions in accordance with its continuing education record-retention procedures and applicable requirements.
